Playing Piano in Portland, Oregon

Portland, Oregon is another one of my favorite cities in America simply because of the friendly vibe that exists there. The entire state of Oregon is wholesome and the people there have an appreciation for the earth, good food, and respect. When I cruised through the city I realized that Portland, Oregon is a mixture of New York City, Austin, and Santa Cruz. You'll find plenty of food carts with really well made food all over the city. Theres another farmers market every day all over the city. If it didnt rain so much, I would probably move there.

2nd major stop on my tour and the weather was looking beautiful that week. I called up one of my friends from college who put me up on her couch. I was so grateful to have friends in some of my cities.

That week I discovered a huge leak in the back of my truck. It was a messy week, but I ended up getting some sealant and sealing it up. My fear was getting mold in the back of the truck and then sleeping in a moldy room.

After leaving DC, we went to Myrtle Beach where we encountered plenty of tourist shops, a decent looking beach, and lots of Crab.

Piano on the streets of Philadelphia, PA

This was my first stop on my 5 month tour. I spent a week in Philadelphia and stayed at a friends house on Broad street. Philly is sort of a quiet city, so i didnt spent much time playing. I was adjusting to the traveling lifestyle and preparing for what was to come in the next couple of months.

Playing Piano in LOVE Park, Philadelphia. This was the first place I played at on my 5 month tour. You see the homeless man putting up a sign that he made for me. He was a wise homeless man and had some interesting words to say that inspired me on the rest o the trip.

One night on Frenchmen Street

Here is one of the nights I spent exploring Frenchmen street. There was always something going on, tons of artists everywhere, and creativity was flowing throughout the area.
