10 Videos of Pianos in Incredible Places

I can guarantee you that you have never seen a piano in most of these places before. From Central America to Europe, these are only a small handful of the places I have played piano in. Some of these places were almost impossible to get to with the piano. Enjoy!

1. The Rainforests of Guatemala- Semuc Champey

It was early morning (8 AM) and as I was leaving the magical rainforest of Semuc Champey I decided to pull out the piano and have a moment to play some music for the rainforest. I feel connected with the earth and I am playing completely from the heart.

2. At the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France

Europe Roadtrip Ep. 8- Street Pianist at Le Eiffel Tower It was another day out on the streets to play some piano in Paris. I am funding my entire roadtrip by street performing so I decided to do a few locations today. One of the locations was at the Eiffel tower.

3. On a Bridge in the Medieval City of Ghent, Belgium

Some of you were wondering what is the first song in the Harpsichord Episode in Ghent, Belgium and here it is. This is an improvisation. I like to sit at the piano, take in the environment, and create a piece of music on the spot. This was NOT rehearsed before this moment.

4. Inside a Redwood Tree in California

Driving through the Prairie Creek Redwoods in California I found the tree on the side of the road. Immediately I thought, "Wouldnt it be amazing to play piano inside that tree? And then I did it.... I know, my piano was really out of tune at that point in the trip.

5. In the Subways of New York City

6. On a Cliff in Yellowstone National Park (Inspiration Point)

This was back in 2011 on my first expedition... I was a bit unsure about trying to play piano on the edge of this cliff in Yellowstone National park but life isnt fun unless you are taking risks and trying new things every day.

7. On Broadway in Manhattan with 2 Complete Strangers

This is a great story!- September 7, 2010 This was Day 8 for my NYC busking adventure with my upright piano. I decided to drag my piano 4 blocks uptown to SOHO. There, I met this British dude with a Brazilian Pandeiro.

8. San Cristobal de Las Casas in Mexico

I showed up in San Cristobal with my piano and decided to play in their main shopping area. It was a great time and I met some cool people but they ended up kicking me out because I didnt have a permit Live an Extraordinary Life!

9. In the Desert at Burning Man

This was at Burning Man 2013. I have been traveling around the world with my upright piano and it just so happened that I decided to stop over at burning man to play my piano. I wish i could have made it to Burning man 2014 but I was touring Europe with my Piano.

10. Piano At the Grand Canyon

Playing piano on the edge of a cliff at the Grand Canyon. This was back in 2011 when I first started traveling around the world with a piano. I wasnt a very good piano player back then, but over the years and after many many hours of practice, I've come a long way with my music.
