Oregon to Seattle · One hundred days on the road · As I wrote it
Day 100- July 11, 2011
100 days of traveling across America! We woke up at the campground after a very long weekend. It was probably one of the longest weekends of my life just because so much happened in such a small amount of time. I had an amazing time there, never to be forgotten and I hope to come back next year. I got some numbers, picked up Brando and we set off for Seattle, via Portland, OR. It was going to be a 6 hour drive so we had to be prepared for anything. When we arrived in Portland, we went to a gym and took showers there. After getting some food for the week, we began the drive to Seattle. The drive wasn’t very interesting aside from the woods and beautiful pine trees that we saw. We stopped in Olympia and saw a lot of transient traveling people who left the Rainbow Gathering a few days earlier. After getting some coffee, we continued to Seattle and stopped at a hotel parking lot to sleep at 10 PM.
About to roll out onto the streets of downtown Seattle. 4th ave and Pike!
