No Bank Account, No Credit Cards. Here Is My Plan.

Granada, Nicaragua · Down to $100 · As I wrote it

April 3, 2013 · 11:23 PM

I dont have access to paypal, bank accounts, or credit cards... But here is my idea. This is something I´ve been through before in Seattle, WA although the only difference is I´m in a foreign country with different people and currency. I´m going to play piano this weekend and see how much money I can make on the streets of Granada Nicaragua. Its a tourist town that most likely gets a good bit of pedestrian traffic… I need to wait a week or two before all my bank cards come in. What really sucks is they took my drivers license…

Got myself a $2 haircut and some fruits and veggies at the market. I´m gonna attempt to live for the next 2 weeks with only $100.

April 4 · 9:00 PM

Hung out at Apoyo Lagoon with a Brazilian, a Canadian, Californian, and a Dutch… This is why I love living like this.

April 5 · 5:42 PM

Cruised through the market today to get some cheap eats. It is pretty damn hot here in Granada. I´m going to wait until night comes an maybe I´ll play some piano to make some extra cash.

April 12 · 5:24 PM

This week I´m playing piano at a hostel in exchange for food and shower… It great because they have a sweet pool and I´ll take a dip then practice a few tunes. Perfect balance :-)

I´m sitting on a hammock looking at this sunset right now…
